FREIRAUM
Pulheim, Germany, 2012
FREIRAUM is an artistic and experiential project by directors Nina Gühlstorff and Dorothea Schroeder, inviting young people from Brauweiler and Pulheim to reflect on the spaces in which they learn and live.
In the afternoons, FREIRAUM becomes a place to work, withdraw, explore, relax, experiment, play and reflect – a space where new rules can be temporarily invented. On selected evenings, discussion sessions with scientists and educators from the region take place, who critically accompany the project.
FREIRAUM creates a space for public dialogue about education, encouraging young people and the wider community to question how the spaces around us shape the way we learn, live and interact.
